Stitching for a cause
Coming soon to an Annex Teen Clinic fundraiser near you! If you live in Minnesota. I've been doing some cross stitch and needlepoint the past year, and wanted to create one based on a personal LARC fav, the intrauterine device (IUD). LARC stands for long-acting reversible contraception. These are methods such as the IUD, the implant, and the shot. LARCs can be a super great method of birth control because they are very effective and discreet. They are low maintenance and last a long time. An awesome method of birth control deserves some recognition, even in the form of crafty needlepoint. Let's all be #smartaboutsex.
I might need to work on my font stitching abilities, but I'm still happy to share it and the info about the Annex's fundraiser with the world. If you're looking to see it in person and have a great time, come to the Annex fundraiser July 24th! It will be full of fun, good Minnesota beer, and opportunities to connect with others who are passionate about working towards a world where all young people are able to take charge of their sexual health. More info and tickets available here. Hope to see you there!
